Puppy Introduction Service

We have a puppy induction programme that has proven to be a great success. Grooming is introduced gently and calmly to puppies from the age of 4 months. This introductory appointment helps prepare the puppy to be separated from their owners and let them experience the different sounds and sensations that they will need to get used to as their coats mature and regular grooming is required.

Our induction programme is as follows and includes a free consultation with us to meet you and your puppy informally before we groom your pet.

Stage 1: Please call us to book your free consultation and we can discuss your exact requirements 
Stage 2: Bring your puppy along for a complimentary sniff, cuddle and explore around their new grooming salon, a big adventure!
Stage 3: Arrange your puppies first mini groom where they will be brushed, bathed, dried and some minor scissor work.
Stage 4: Sit back and relax knowing your have found a groomers that will look after your pride and joy as if they were our own.

Full Groom   Bath, Shampoo & Set!   Nail Clipping
Our full groom consists of a health check, pre-bath groom. We then bath your dog using carefully selected shampoos to suit your dogs coat. They are then dried, groomed again, styled in a breed specific cut, or a style of your choice. Techniques offered include: clipping, scissoring or hand-stripping, with nails and dew claws clipped and a bit of doggy cologne as a finishing touch.   For the busy pet who is always on the go or for between our Full Body Groom. Our Bath and Brush-up service includes dead hair removal, two shampoos, blow dry or towel dry and a nail trim if required, no further grooming is undertaken. As a finishing touch a little spray of doggy cologne.   Nails are trimmed. Regular trimming of nails will prevent nail overgrowth. Overgrown nails may result in damage to furniture and hard wood floors as well as lameness. We always check and trim nails, if required, in all of our services.

  This procedure is a common choice that is appropriate for certain breeds, please ask our advice before choosing this option, again in some cases there are alternative methods that are equally effective.
What ever your need we are experienced in giving you the correct advice for your dogs coat and suggesting appropriate coat length and care techniques.		   We use natural, traditional hand stripping methods. We are able to preserve and maintain coat condition, texture and colour of wire coated breeds, retaining the original look of your dog and not changing their appearance by using quicker methods, that only dilute colour and change texture.
